About Us

Founded in 2008 by Brian Seibel and Marc Ginsberg, CCP is an SAT/ACT test preparation provider in the greater Phoenix area.  Since its inception, CCP has conducted dozens of SAT and ACT classes in which every student has achieved a score increase, most significant.  After being awarded a certified test prep contract by the Scottsdale Unified School district in 2009, CCP became a major player in the local test preparation market.

Meet the Staff

Brian Seibel

President, Math Instructor



 

 

Brian has a B.S. In Business Management from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.  He has led project management and operational functions for start-up companies and large corporations over the past six years.  Brian also brings experience as a university professor, SAT course instructor, and private math and physics tutor.

When he's not analyzing standardized tests, Brian enjoys playing guitar and piano, in addition to a variety of recreational sports.


Marc Ginsberg

Vice-President



 

 

Marc is a Masters-Certified and Highly Qualified Arizona math teacher, coach, and teacher-trainer.  He has a fourteen-year tenure working for the Paradise Valley Unified School District, where he is currently employed.  He owns and operates A+ Tutoring and Test Prep, a local tutoring company in business for the last ten years.

In addition to his Masters Certification, Marc also holds a BA in Economics from UCLA.


Michael Tang

Lead English Instructor




 

 

Michael holds a BA in both creative writing and English literature from the University of Arizona. A published author, Michael has gained considerable experience within the field of secondary education, not only through the instruction of SAT / ACT courses, but also through both the development of SAT / ACT curriculum as well as through working with a wide variety of socially progressive, community-minded organizations such as the JACL and NAACP.


Dave Johnson

ACT Instructor



 

 

Dave holds a BA in Political Science with an English Minor from Duke University in addition to a JD in Law from Wake Forest.  He has been a math and English tutor for numerous companies in the Valley, and he also is a teacher at an elementary school.

Dave's second calling is film, where he has written, filmed, and produced a few education related documentaries, his most notable one being From the 50 Yard Line.  Dave is well traveled -- he has visited all 50 states, not to mention 30 countries on six continents.


Robert Miller
English Instructor



 

Robert holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University, with a minor in Law and Society, and an MBA from Ithaca College.  He scored in the 90th percentile or higher on the PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT, and GMAT.  Applying his wide range of knowledge and skills, Robert assisted in starting a new charter school in New York in 2008.
