Accountability and Ethics Q: Is your post-test easier than the pre-test to guarantee score improvement? A: CCP has a bank of similar practice tests that are randomly assigned to each student. One student's pre-test could be another student's post-test -- therefore eliminating any bias towards one test. Q: Do your instructors "teach to the test?" A: Our instructors have no knowledge of the specific questions on our practice tests. Only CCP's executive board knows the material on our practice tests. Q: How do I know my student's tests are being scored accurately? A: Immediately after each practice test, all students' bubble sheets are scanned into our system. When CCP sends the results of the test, the student's bubble sheet, along with an answer key, is included for scoring transparency. In cases of dispute, the parent is welcome to schedule a visit with CCP to review the scoring procedures for their child's test. Q: Does the student receive any feedback on their essay score? A: Each score report includes a detailed explanation of the strengths and weaknesses for their essay, and how each effected the overall score. Feedback is provided by our Lead English Instructor. |
